Clearance.

Clearance items are brand-new, factory-sealed products that are end of life or discontinued by the manufacturer.

Open-box.

Customers return opened products for a variety of reasons — a gift was the wrong colour or model, or the phone or computer was too big to fit. Some open-box products served as in-store displays & some have just rough/damaged packs. Each open-box product was tested or inspected to verify proper working order and physical appearance, and assigned a condition — Excellent-Certified, Excellent, Satisfactory or Fair. In addition, most open-box products include all parts and accessories (exceptions are noted as part of the product's condition).

Refurbished.

Occasionally, technology misbehaves right out of the box. Other products work as expected, but need some sprucing up (such as a new screen, battery or casing). Refurbished products are repaired and restored to a like-new state (may have minor scratches), either by the manufacturer or a third-party refurbishment company. The products are verified to work properly and include all essential parts and accessories (original or comparable substitutes).

Pre-owned. (This is Temporarily suspended.)

Pre-owned products have been opened and used (some for days or weeks, others for a month or more), and were typically acquired through the Just Fones Trade-In program.

Pre-owned products are inspected and verified to function properly, cleaned top to bottom, and restored to original factory specifications (as applicable). Pre-owned products may not include all parts and accessories (details are provided for each item), and usually do not have original packaging.

Excellent Certified.

Excellent-Certified products have a broken seal & rough/damaged box. Products in this condition are brand new — with no physical flaws, scratches or scuffs — and include the original parts and accessories, as well as the original box.

Excellent.

Excellent products may probably have a broken seal & rough/damaged box and have passed the Just Fones Certified process. Products in Excellent condition are brand new/like brand new — with no physical flaws, scratches or scuffs — and include all original parts and accessories (or a suitable replacement). The product will be in its original box (or a suitable replacement).

*Excellent product are typically products returned by our customers within our 1-7 days return/exchanged policy window after purchase for an exchange.

* In addition, the product box was professionally cleaned, then repackaged with care to give you a product box as near to new as possible. Excellent products can be found in Just Fones stores and online.

Satisfactory (in-store Pickup items).

Products in Satisfactory condition show minor to moderate signs of use that affect cosmetic appearance but have no impact on performance. If the product has a screen, it is intact and fully functional, with no visible blemishes in the viewing area. (A Satisfactory product does not include dents, chips, cracks or deep scratches.) In addition, original packaging is typically not present, and nonessential parts or accessories might be missing, such as a commonly available cable or remote (identified on each individual product). Products in Satisfactory condition can be found in Just Fones stores or online for Store Pickup, where the factors mentioned above are accounted for in the savings you'll see.

Fair (in-store pickup items).

Products in Fair condition works as intended, but show more significant scratches, dents or chips — for example, a phone returned to a Just Fones store with a dent or large scratch or a computer with a minor scuff on the screen that doesn't affect viewing quality. Original packaging is typically not included and vital accessories are commonly missing, like a charger or a proprietary cable (identified on each individual product). Products in Fair condition can be found in Just Fones stores or online for Store Pickup, where the factors mentioned above are accounted for in the savings you'll see. If you can accept visible flaws, you'll also realise substantial savings.

Just Fones Certified programs involve a rigorous multipoint inspection designed to ensure the highest performance and quality standards. Each product is tested to verify it works like new and is restored to original factory settings, plus all parts are thoroughly cleaned.
