Build and Screen
The Infinix Smart doesn’t deviate much from what you can expect at this price range, design wise. It shows basic construction with a body featuring plastic. Infinix Smart is not outrageously thick at 8.35 millimetres and the weight is right at 145 grams.
On the front is a 5-inch IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. You can expect images to be sharper than what you get on some rivals in this price range.
With an 8MP primary camera, the Infinix Smart does not offer anything you cannot easily get elsewhere. What you may not get on rivals is dual-LED flash, which is available here. This should help you take better quality images in poorly-lit settings.
For selfies, Infinix Smart provides a measly 2MP snapper. But this should suffice, unless you desire best-quality selfies or nothing. There is soft flash to improve shot quality.
Hardware and Software
The Infinix Smart comes with a quad-core MediaTek processor running at a maximum speed of 1.3 GHz. This receives support from lowly 1 GB of RAM and a Mali-400 MP graphics solution.
Internal storage is 16 GB and you can use a microSD card to add another 32 GB. The phone offers Android 7.0 Nougat with Infinix’s XOS 2.2 Chameleon skin residing on top.
Other Specs and Features
You get a powerful 3,060mAh Li-Polymer battery, which Infinix says will last you two days on a charge. Power Saving Mode enables you squeeze more life out of the battery. As usual, you get dual SIM slots in the mix.
The Infinix Smart X5010 offers Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct support and Bluetooth version 4.0. According to its maker, you can expect 3D stereo surround sound from the dual front speakers.
